I’ve decided that, rather than writing regular posts on Saturdays, I’ll try something different. Since there are always great conversations and great tips floating around the Internet, I’ll use Saturdays to “fling” links your way. Check them out if you’d like, and be sure to join in on the conversation if comments are allowed.

  • Brian Clark at Copyblogger starts an interesting discussion of J.D. Salinger’s THE CATCHER IN THE RYE and how it relates to phony (or ingenious) marketing.
  • Digital Dame has sparked an interesting conversation about the Amazon Kindle and other electronic readers here and here. Weigh in with your two cents.
  • Sonia Simmone from Remarkable Communication offers a few healthy tips on “Slowblogging“. This is a bit older, but let your muse be your guide.
  • Naomi Dunford of Itty Biz gives us a bit of a wake-up call on the recession. In fact, according to her, recessions are for losers. And who wants to be a loser?
  • Tess Gerritsen, author of HARVEST, talks about the transparency and exposure of social media in the context of authors and celebrities.
